As the Night Calls (Open)

Gnarled black trees reached up to the sky like eager fingers seeking to scrape the moon. An orange form sailed past the haunting figures. Purple orbs looked around for a sign of life, yet there was nothing but ebony bark. She was flying near the top of the forest, her toes dipping into the fog that coated the earth. Wings carried her swiftly and silently forward. A tree seemed to materialize out of nowhere in front of her. She gasped and spewed out flames through her lips. All she managed to do was not only crash into a tree but crash into a flaming tree. Luckily the flames didn't hurt her and she just fell to the ground. The smell of charred wood tickled her nose and the fog rushed to embrace her. Sitting up she blinked a couple of times before getting on her feet. Slowly she started walking, deciding it would be safer to leave the forest before trying to fly again. Above her the fire jumped from tree to tree. She didn't really care after all she didn't think other dragons would mind a little fire. The fog seemed to thickened and squinting she tried to look for an exit.

The only thing she did managed to find was a blackish or sort of blueish rock. First large rock she had seen in the forest floor but still. Warming up the rock and then sitting on it would be a relief. Jolanix inhaled, filling up her lungs with air to blow some controlled fire. Then parting her lips she let the flames gently lick the rock. A steady stream of fire escaping her mouth along with some light steam from her nose.

DarkShadow jumped back when a pale marble colored dragon slammed into the orange one. He flapped his wings and let out a slight hiss. His red eyes scanned over both of them before he slowly folded his wings. The two dragons were females? He sniffed the air. Maybe they would like to stay and talk to him for a bit? He hadn't seen another dragon around here in days and he was interested in both of them. He hesitated as they managed to untangle themselves from each other. This wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind to meet others of his kind. He sighed and slowly folded his wings. "What names do you two go by?" He asked calmly. He looked back and forth between the two curiously.

The male seemed to change as soon as the other came. He now seemed more curious than angry. Which she supposed she should be glad about but still it unnerved her. Her eyes floated over to the small girl and saw that she righted herself and spoke up. She offered her name, Pyix and asked in turn for the other two. The orange dragon smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you Pyix, I'm Jolanix." Then her purple orbs would turn to the male who she nearly tried to roast. A thought popped into her mind, an odd one indeed. She wondered if she looked intimidating to these creatures. With her large size and sharp claws. The spikes that rose form her spine to make herself look bigger. Well both of them had first down some light snapping so she wouldn't put it past them to attack. The dragon lady stood still for now, just observing the others. She was curious to know the male's name, was it evil sounding? She glanced at his red eyes and black blue body. He seemed like he fit into these woods perfectly. Perhaps he lived here. But was about the white one, she had fallen form higher above than she. She knew because the impact had been hard. After all she had felt it first hand.
