Maeve flitted through the forest her gaze dancing around her new home as she healed the various plants and small trees. She was careful to not exert her limit of strength for healing. When she did it lasted for days afterwards, leaving her weak and nauseous. Her green eyes locked on a patch of wild strawberries and she lit up, She landed amid the berry patch and looked over the fruit. Picking out the ripe ones for her lunch. The healing of the forest could wait till later, she decided and fluttered up to a tree that had a hole in it. She settled on the thick branch and stared out over the vast forest. She began humming a song to herself and the tree began responding without her using her magic. She was used to this, so it didn't break up her humming. She was happy in this new territory. Many new creatures came up and listened to her humming. She'd made a friend in an albino squirrel who loved staying near her. But today he wasn't anywhere around, She chirped out a call that he responded to. Sure enough he came bounding through the branches and settled next to her.
